Puzzle Pirates is an open-ended multi-player game played by thousands of people from around the globe each day.

In Puzzle Pirates, you take on the role of a Pirate. After creating your Pirate, you are free to travel from Island to Island around the Ocean, earning your keep as a sailor and buccaneer. Now that dubs are about 3k worth. Maybe its worth buying the dubloons instead of earning them at the YPP game. There are many sites that pay you for viewing advertisments. A doubloon is worth 0.20$. 1) The board

You win if you make your opponent fill his board. Every piece you clear is sent as an attack to the enemy. Nevertheless he will do the same and you will also receive attacks.

You loose when the bloc with the arrow is filled with any other piece

You can either receive swords or loose grey blocs

Joining blocks make greater blocs that are equivalent to better strikes each time.

Depending on your stats, experience loyalty and behaviour of the crew, you will be ranked up in different ways.

Being in a crew is like being in a family. If you missbehave you can pay for it, so always be respectful to yer mates.

If you just want to log in for a day to only check anything, dont do it. You are loosing 1 day of your badges, and therefore you are loosing a good amount of money.

If you want to check anything, create anothe pirate on your account, your badges wont get touched ande ye may still check out the things you want to check out.

Labour badge: How to make it profitable

A labour badge can get ye quite some good loads of money, specially distilling, which is a difficult puzzle.

How can I make profit? Always have 3 jobs in places that have lots of work to do and 16+/hr payment. With this, u assure to get 16 x 24 = 384 per day, 384 x 31 = 11904, that will pay you for the dobloon cost.

Always get expert labour. Achieve renowed puzzling standings where you work at, and you have to play that puzzle at least 1 time per 2 weeks to keep getting good wages.

How do I make money from foraging? Actually, nowadays foraging is very difficult to make income, because the chances you get payed less than 16 are huge: e.g, getting a pinaple and being payed 5, getting rambutan and being payed 10. Avoid foraging as much as you can.

Extra tips: Distilling is the most complex puzzle and distillers get up to double/triple pays than other works, so learn distillery and get rich!!

War brig pillaging guide YPP

War brig pillaging guide

This are the basic requirements needed for running a WB pillage:

-Have a War Brig or one unlocked by your crew fellows
-Buy stock, 30 rums for the voyage and 30 medium canonballs per battle, so 25 cbs per league aprox.
-Take 15 jobbers.
-Make sure you have gunners before setting sail. 3 Master gunners is recommended.
-Make sure you know how to bnav. Lookout for my bnaving guide

How to get good booty:
-When already sailing, keep everyone on a station and give them precise orders
-Keep 7 sailors, 2 bilges and 3 carps, 2-3 gunners and you bnaving
-Maxing the enemies will give you more money than a 0-0 score
-A good duty report raises the money plundered on battles.
-Dont hesistate to plank lazers and boochers.

Running a profitable sloop pillage.

Here you will learn how to run a profitable Pillage on a sloop. First of all, here is a table with the damage needed to max each ship:

SLOOP

The basics:
-The sloop is the smallest ship and it fires small cannonballs.
-Stock your sloop with 30 rum 100 cbs if its yours, else only 10/50
-Set sail with 7 persons that are respected on their stations or more, recommended master gunner.
-Ye may also set sail with 5-6 excepcional jobbers.
-Have 3 sailors, 1 carper, 1 bilger and 1 gunner, you concentrate on Dnav and Bnav.
-Else have 1,1,1,1 and you bnav
-Max the enemies Look for my bnaving guide in this Blog
-Always try to engage the same type of vessels, e.g if you attacked a Brigand, keep engaging Brigands
-Do the expeditions always.
-If ye loose try to engage.
-Divide KB always, jobbers will love you and its the correct thing to do.

Advanced:
-Watch out for grapplers.
-Longships dont diserve fighting if you arent GM bnav.
-Dont PvP because it isnt profitable normally.

How much can i get if i follow this tips? 500 poes up after second battle per person and loads more on your hold, like 2k per battle before dividing booty

Rumble: Why using the Blackjack

The Blackjack is the deadliest bludgeon in terms of rumbling. Its pattern mixes up with each punch and for a 3 combo punch it adds 3 black balls to the enemy board + bruises.

The debility of the Blackjack is its sprinkle, its is fairly horrible, and it is now use sprinkle vs sprinkle.

So why use the Blackjack? If you punch the enemy, you will mix his board and bruise him to death while having no problems on your board. Why? Sprinkles on you are no use because you can build and fire them as Bruises, and in Punch vs Punch the BJ will generate more bruises. It is a huge advantage if ye are trying to go for the Ult.

Get lots of money on YPP

If ye are short of poes, or like huge amounts of them, job for a blocade!
Rich flags will pay you lots of money in order to job you for a huge mission, trying to take/defend a whole island.

The procees is simple, check the notice board on early saturday or late friday and see if any cades are scheduled for the week end, if any, job for then when its the time on the voyages section or sending a tell to the announcer on the blocades tab on the notice board.

On blocades, ye get payed for yer performance. If you get incredible or excellent, you will get paid fair more than the average pay, so work hard and get rich!

On a 1k per break cade you can get easyly 10k, which is not bad for being a jobber.

Cursed Islands

Seeking to conquer the Cursed Isles (CI from now on) is a very dangerous adventure. First of all, what is a CI like. CIs are similar to Altantis runs, including the possibility of sinking. They encourage a boat to travel through a battle board full of hazards to reach the islands where Vargas's treasures are waiting to be ransacked!
Lets talk about the hazards of the board: First of all, the is a green fog called the vile fog that slows your moves and makes ye consume extra rum. There are siniester sloops and cutters that will try to haunt you and malevolous rock traps and wind that pulls you into the island, but not out!! Also boarders will try to attack your boat, trying to punch you out of it.That is why sending big vessels to the CI can end in massacre. Almost all the people who manage good CI runs do it on sloops.

What do I need to be jobbed for a CI? The CI is a huge risk adventure that requires a Bravery Badge, but not only that, the officers that command the CI attacks prefer experienced jobbers that know very good how to do: a duty puzzle (sail, bilge or carp), Swordfight, Rumble and Foraging. If you are interested in being that jobber, try to pull up yer standing to GM at a duty puzzle and renowed in SF, Rumble and Foraging.
Thralling: Inside the CI the officer my want to get thralls, in that case, in yer puzzle you will have to get the CI flower token as much as possible, that when used, transforms the enemy boarders into slave thralls under your command, it is recommended that the owner of the thrall defends it when rumbling.

An example of a CI entrance: 6 jobbers and the officer enter the CI. 3 jobbers sail, 2 carp and 1 bilges. They sucessfully enter the Island, now its time to rumble down the Enlightened Ones and their vile slaves, the zombies. If they win the fray, they forage for treasures until they are stopped again by Swordfighting Cultists, again if they win they keep foraging, unless the officer orders the way back. If they loose a fray. they will be send out the island and the monsters will keep part of their loot. When they reach back to port and divide booty, they get all the money they fairly earned, otherwise, if you sink, ZERO, nothing, so be careful.

When the horrible dragoons board the ship, its the MAA's responsability to manage them

What do dragoons do?
Dragoons board your ship, booch at stations, and plan to overtake you when enough of them are aboard.

What can the MAA do?
The MAA can start frays to defeat the boarders and preventing them to stack at the ship until they overtake it.

It is the responsability of the MAA to tell the navigator the status of the boarders in case ye all have to pull out the map to reset them.

A good MAA will ensure POEs reach the boat safely and a succesful SMH!!

How to build strikes on rumble and bruising

Hi! Rumbling is an amazing puzzles involving a fray where you can either win or loose =P.

There are 2 rumbling techniques, sprinkling and strikes. I will show you how to do good strikes. The objective of the strikes are to mess the opponents board, this is done effectively by bruising. Bruises are those horrible black balls that take time in being cleared!!

They appear when loose balls fall of the board after firing your combo.

The best way to do a simple but aggressive punch is doing this kind of setup:

The blue lines show that i started my combo on an orange ball, and i left another ball on my left hand ready to set that combo.

The white lines show you the 2 more sets that are on my combo.

The black bit will fall to the board filling with bruises my opponent board like this:

Ive seen no one clear that out before you set another combo, soon you will fill the enemies board and drive them mad!!

Just try to launch your combo before getting hitted by an enemies punch or your charged balls may be converted to bruises! Thas the basics of GOOD RUMBLE!!

How not to be a noob on SMH.

Here is a list of what you should do to keep the Bnaver, MAA and XO on a SMH happy.

MUST:
1.Take a station, Lazers suck, dont be one of them.
2.Only TH when the captain says.
3. Dont 1 vs 1 unless yer GM+, and not on safe zone.
4. Do not talk about stupid things on board it reakky is annoying

WHY MUST?
1. If you laze you are not producing a benefit to the ship, that will result in plank
2.Cool, lets all TH and make us rich. NO. If the stations are not filled and you are being attacked, u have lots of chances to glub glub.
3. If you loose vs a goon, its no good, and when you are in safe zone the defenders will take care fo them.
4. Go on... annoy an officer until he types /plank you

Ultimate Gunning: 3 Tips

Ive been playing YPP for a long time since now, and one of my best puzzles is gunning, as ive been 2#. You might wonder how did I reached there? Ill only give you 3 tips. Combine keyboard and mouse. Dont place too many arrows. Do it quick.

So youre able gunner? you have no idea how that difficult puzzle works?

The aim of gunning is to load guns in order to shoot them to other objectives, guns are loaded in the gunning board, and each gun has to be filled in this order: 1.Red bag 2.Trash paper 3. Cannon.
When guns are shot, they leave trash on the guns that has to be washed with the bucked, keep practicing at your rate and keep adding speed each time. Dont worry if you throw to the sea cannons or powder bags... none are wasted.

Keep going on and youll make it mates... =P

The strategy you can use for getting an Incredible sails can vary, u might want to do 2 bingoes at the start or one huge vegas, all will get you on icredible first league. It is recommended that you build from bottom to top and calculate with accuracy the combo yer doing. If you mix up, just pull out of the puzzle and switch to rigging for a little time. Clearing out boxes will give you more score than 4 standalone pieces, so try to combine them to get a strong bingo!

Carpentry tutorial

First I must say that anything i dont write is indicated, in this case im going to take extracts from Hawkings marvellous carpentry tutorial that can be seen HERE.

What is carpentry and what does it do? Carpentry is a puzzle ye may play at a vessel (a duty puzzle) and it involves repairing the ship to prevent it sinking or filling with water. In cases like PvP wars, blocades, SMHs (Sea Monster Hunt), CIs (Cursed Islands), Flotillas... If the carpintry indicator (The red indicator) hits its maximum capacity the ship will sink with all the treasure in it and no one wants that to happen, so this is why carpentry is needed.

Basic Carpentry: The objective of the carpentry puzzle is to cover the holes that appear with the given pieces. Unexperienced carpers will have an easy board with 3 holes and the respective 3 pieces, nevertheless, the great carpenters have huge holes with different pieces.

The objective of any carper is to make a masterpiece, that is, a hole perfectly patched with pieces that do not overlap. Consecutive masterpieces will get you bonification.

How to carp it to the top:
1.Memorise the frequency of the pieces, theres a table when you are playing the puzzle on the tutorial part. Use this to fill holes so that the final pieces to fill are common.

2. Work on two holes close toghether. Focus on a small hole and try to fill it, then continue with any hole except for the one in diagonal so that the board keeps rotating!

MUST KNOW TO GET INCREDIBLE ON FIRST LEAGUE "By Hawkings"

The Cold Toolbox
Starting up from scratch is one of the crucial places
in carpentry. When you first start up Carpentry you’ll have a dead black hammer.
The best way to get to that flying sparkling hammer is to complete two
Masterpieces as fast as you can with a Grain Bonus if possible. To do this it is
crucial to focus completely on two holes one each at a time. It takes two
Masterpieces to get to the sparkling flying hammer. The faster you get them the
better chance you have on getting a first League Point incredible. The more
Masterpieces you can get in before the League Point improves your chances of
getting that incredible but it is the first two that is the most critical. The
quicker you can get to sparkling, the better your score will be. With a little
luck you will have a 4X5 hole and start out with Ps, Ys and Ls. If you have
them, use them on that small hole and ignore the other holes. After the first is
done do the same to the second only going after the off holes if you’ll cause
the hole to be booched otherwise or you have no pieces that help you complete a
master piece in the first holes. Getting two Masterpieces quickly will guarantee
you at least an excellent on the first duty report.

Fastest way to make a familiar without poker (requires stats)

ANY PIRATE CAN GET HIS FAM WITH EFFORT!

A cheap familiar can cost you 1.3 Million Poes. Not much... if you motivate and save.

Every weekend there are blocades all over the oceans, check out where they occur and job for them, you can get neat 10-20k easily.

Do elites, an elite gives you at least 500 poes per battle, do 2-4 elites a day and youll get 10k per day=50-70k per week

Adding that up we have 60-90k per week ... without inverting a single poe on badges blah blah.

1300k divided by 60k per week: In 21 weeks you have your fam
1300k divided by 90k per week: In 14 weeks you have your fam

Now how to get a Familiar in one month working hard? It is difficult and possible.
First the calculation: 1300k divided by 30 days: 43k per day... omg... how do i get 43k per day...

Winning a battle in an elite you get a min amount of 500 poes normally... plus 500 when u port, lets say that means you need to battle 43 frays per day, nevertheless the elites give you expeditions where you get 800-2500 poes, 1k booty in one battle.... do 26 battles a day and your done in one month, i really know what im saying, but i always fail in the poker trap, DONT PLAY POKER unless your name is onerichboy or andrax, and keep saving,.

Intelligently you can say that the odds you have for winning are 1/2 in a 1 vs 1, 1/3 in a 3 peep table... 1/1o in the bigest table... so dont even try.

Bilging Tutorial

I have managed Ultimate bilge as simple as doing 3x3 in 2 moves... dead easy, now you have to learn how to get those moves, or trying for a bingo in 5, the strategy I use is 1 move per 10 secs maximum, Getting at least:

In 7 moves max: A Sea Donkey

In 5 moves max: A Bingo OR CRAB WITH MAX BILGE

In 4 moves max: A 4x4, 4x5,3x5,5x5

In 3 moves max: A 3x4

In 2 moves max: A 3x3 OR CRAB AND COMBO WITH NO WATER

In 1 move max: A 4, or a 3 with combo OR CRAB WITH NO WATER

Hope that works for you =P

If you get stuck, get imediately out of the puzzle and switch station for 2 mins then come back happily again ;)

YPP BILGING INTERESANT INFO YOU HAVE TO KNOW (FROM YPPEDIA)

Crabs, Puffer Fish, and
Jellyfish, Oh My!
Crabs are
immovable pieces that are cleared when they reach the water line. Crabs offer a
high scoring bonus when cleared, and the bonus increases with the height of the
water and the number of crabs simultaneously cleared. Clicking on a crab only
results in the crab doing a little jig while shrieking.

The puffer fish expands when clicked and clears itself and the eight
adjacent pieces. It is detrimental to your score unless it results in a chain
reaction clear or it causes one or more crabs to clear by rising above the water
line. (Destroying a crab by clicking an adjacent pufferfish does not score a
bonus.) Letting pufferfish rise near the top of the screen can make converting
crabs from obstacles into bonuses much easier--with one click on a pufferfish
near the top of a board you can raise three columns by up to three spaces each.
Swapping two pufferfish simply swaps them as if they were normal pieces.

Swapping a colored piece with a jellyfish clears all the pieces of the
same color on the board. When used effectively, jellyfish often cause long chain
reactions, thus creating new combo possibilities on the board.

Jellyfish do not work on other special pieces. Attempting to swap the
jellyfish with a crab does not work. Attempting to swap the jellyfish with the
pufferfish will cause the pufferfish to activate first, destroying the
jellyfish. Attempting to swap two jellyfish with each other will cause them to
swap as if they were normal pieces.

Bilge scoring
Bilge scoring is based around the efficiency of moves- the less
moves taken to clear pieces, the higher the score. Unlike
sailing, bilging takes time delay directly
into account. A small delay is acceptable when searching for a new move. A good
balance of strategy and speed is best for a bilger.
An approximation of the bilge scoring system has been compiled by
players.

Tips and Tricks
The
best way to get an incredible the first league is to try to create a double on
the first move. You can also attempt to make a bingo in your first few moves.
The efficiency of the opening moves is very important to scoring well in the
first league.

As the size of the combo made increases, more and
more moves can be made while still scoring well . Strategy also changes greatly
as you move up in levels (ranking). At the higher levels of bilge, you have more
leeway to make extra moves to go for larger combos. At lower levels, you want to
be even more efficient and generally aim for smaller combos.

Generally a break of 3 is worth slightly less
than 1 move (and should mainly be used for intermediate breaks), while a break
of 4 or 5 is worth between 1-2 moves. A 3x3 double is worth about 3 moves. At
high levels, a bingo is worth about 8 moves. Thus, as the size of the break goes
up, the bonus received increases quite a bit. Because the puzzle allows some
leeway for timing, several seconds can be spent between each move to ensure that
it is the best possible move to make.

When the water level is higher, crabs become a much more effective
scoring tool. When the water level reaches the top (although the highest three
rows will always remain dry), simply clearing crabs will score extremely well.
Efficiency is still necessary, but a few well-placed crab clears can easily lead
to an incredible.
